Project Overview
Fabricate carbon steel swimming pool for Portlethen facility. Pool constructed in two 12m x 3m, and one 1.5m prefabricated sections for final assembly on-site. Mid height walkway platform fabricated with handrails and GRP grating. Shotblasted and coating externally with high build epoxy. Internal lining shotlbasted and coated using a two component epoxy glassflake suitable for chlorinated water.

Brief
The brief was to build a sectional training pool to be assembled on-site with limited access and size constraints.
Solution
Our team designed and built the training pool in three pre-fabricated sections, each of which was coated and then assembled on-site.
Result
The upgrade of the Training Pool will ensure that Maersk Training can meet the needs of the industry in today’s current climate.
